Instant is more interesting, Especially for young generations. Consequently, in this digital era, young generations are familiar with the name of AI or Artificial Intelligence. If you ever watched a SpongeBob movie, AI is like a magic shell. At that time, SpongeBob asked or requested anything through the magic shell, and the magic shell answered and carried out his wants. Regarding the definition, AI is artificial intelligence that can complete human work. It means this artificial intelligence as magical machine. Various human jobs such as finding ideas for something, designing art, editing photos, videos, detecting problems, analyzing matters, and even editing a secret document. Thus, this AI certainly can do many magical things.

Based
on this written opinion above, let me give you my opinion about the positive
and negative sides of using AI. From the negative side first. Because of this
is an opinion, so, it honestly comes from my perspective. I think this AI makes
humans dependent, or becomes lazy because all things can be done by AI, such as
finding the answers to questions without having to open a book and read it, is
this AI dangerous?, okay next, besides that, this AI also has another negative
side in terms of privacy. AI easily searches and exposes everything about a
person's personal data in the era of digitization. Then, the worst thing is
that a country can steal big secrets from enemies or other countries. If you
doubt about this matter, let us imagine if you are scanning an important
document using AI. Consequently, it can be translated into a foreign language
or as a form of digitization, and then the documents can be stolen through the
digitization of this AI intermediary. Enough to make us rethink not to use AI?
If not, then move on to the positive side of using AI.
The
positive side of AI is very tantalizing. Well, by the use of AI, all aspects of
life have become very developed and sophisticated. Some examples are in terms
of health in using AI, all types of diseases can be detected or even new drugs can
be found. In addition, in terms of environmental concepts, AI is able to make a
major contribution to the ease of managing natural resources, effective and
efficient solutions in their management. This, AI is certainly also beneficial
to education, where humans are facilitated with extensive knowledge information
along with its sources.
Thus,
when referring to the positive and negative sides of the use of AI, are we all
ready for all the possibilities in the future? Such as the replacement of human
labor into machine or AI labor, or even no longer needed creative ideas from
human thought because AI has replaced them. Then the deepest worst, are you
ready if humans have a decreased way of thinking because everything has been
done by AI?
Hold
on, don't despair and don't worry so much that you can't move on anymore, as
sophisticated as AI is, humans are creatures who are able to think ahead than
AI if they are able to try and keep going, as in the Quran, Surah At Tin verse
4, "Indeed, We have created man in the best possible form". So, we
should not be afraid to take a step, as long as there is faith in us.
